Thamil Muzhakkam 2000 98.5 FM (Australia)
Thamil Muzhakkam is a two hours broadcast providing the Tamil community of Sydney with news and information that is of concern to the community.
The first hour of the broadcast carries a variety of programs that are of interest to all the sections of the Tamil community. These programs include collection of special songs as an entertainment,locally produced dramas and special programs such as "Issayum Kathayum", children's programs, "Namum Nangalum" where important personalities from the Tamil community in Australia are interviewed,"Mannin Mynthargal" where our producers discuss current affairs with important people from the Tamil homeland, and "Arasial Aivu" where an in-depth analysis of current affairs is carried out.
The second hour of the broadcast is dedicated to news bulletins about Sri Lankaand India, correspondent reports from India and Sri Lanka, community announcements and a world news bulletin.
