SHYAM RADIO is an on-line global radio started by few journalists
of Tamil Nadu, southernmost state of India. Its founder Dr.SHYAM
is a senior journalist in Tamilnadu. He is also a practicing advocate in
Madras High Court. He was recipient of Rajiv Memorial Award for
excellence in Journalism during 1992 and 1993. Until 2001 he was
editing a newspaper called THARASU, first investigative magazine
in Tamilnadu. He is the father of sting operation in Tamil Journalism,
way back in 1989, when corrupt high officials were exposed by hidden
micro recorders. The idea and rationale behind SHYAM RADIO is the
belief that internet is going to be the mother of all media in the near future.
Dr Shyam plans to provide global tamil audience news, current affairs,
politics and all the other niche areas one may want to know through net.
True to Tamilnadu's way of beginning through movie,
now SHYAM RADIO offers cinema music and plans to build a listener
base to spread wings.
